Group ROI calculator for venues

Escape rooms, bowling alleys, family entertainment centers and trampoline parks sell to groups. Set your weekly groups, group size and ticket price to see how many contacts, review taps and return visits a wheel at the exit produces, and what the return visits are worth.

Return visits a month

Extra revenue a month from return visits

$1,440 to $4,050

Each return visit counted as the guest plus 2 paying companions at $30 a head.

The Starter plan ($79 a month) is covered by 1 return visit a month.

Platform data, May 2025 to August 2026: 40% of guests opt in to marketing, the median venue sees 15% tap the review link, 7.5% of guests come back without a wallet pass and 21.5% with one (a correlation, not a controlled test). The spin share and the companions are your assumptions; the range shows the platform's low and high return rates.

How the math works

1

Groups become guests

Groups a week x group size x 4.33 weeks. One booking email becomes four, six or ten reachable guests.

2

Some of them spin

Your assumption. Staff pointing at the wheel at the exit is what moves this number.

3

Platform rates apply

40% opt in to marketing, 15% tap the review link at the median venue, 7.5% to 21.5% come back on a later day.

4

Return visits are priced

A returning guest rarely comes alone. Each return is the guest plus the companions you set, at your ticket price.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the calculator start from groups, not guests?
Because entertainment venues sell to groups and a booking stores one email for the whole group. An escape room team of four or a bowling lane of six is four or six guests who can each leave a contact and a review at the exit. The calculator multiplies groups by group size to get the guests who can be reached.
Where do the 40%, 15%, 7.5% and 21.5% come from?
From SpiniX platform data between May 2025 and August 2026, test and demo accounts excluded: 40% of guests opt in to marketing (3,843 of 9,519 spins), the median venue sees 15% of guests tap the Google review link (28 venues with 50 or more spins), and 7.5% of guests without a wallet pass spun again on a later day against 21.5% with one (n = 8,109 guests). Definitions are on the results page.
What does "guests who spin at the exit" mean and what should I set it to?
The share of guests who scan and spin. It depends on whether staff point at the wheel at the debrief or the shoe counter, so it is your assumption. Venues where the game master says one line at the exit see far more spins than venues that only put a sign on the wall. Start at 30% and adjust after the first month.
Is the return visit range a promise?
No. The low end is the platform return rate without a wallet pass, the high end the rate with one, and both are correlations across many venues. Your venue will land somewhere depending on the prize, the expiry and how often you remind guests.
How many return visits pay for the plan?
The calculator shows it under the revenue figure for USD, EUR and GBP. At a $30 ticket and two paying companions, one return visit brings $90, so a single return visit a month covers the $79 Starter plan.
